Savings
on events for ICMA members
Similar to ICMA,
WAN organises high quality conferences to benefit its members, although its
subject matter is considerably broader than pure classifieds. The most relevant
events for ICMA members are the World Newspaper Advertising Conference focusing
on generating revenues, and the World Digital Publishing Conference focusing on
the latest digital developments. Why not join ICMA so that you can benefit from
ICMA's Affiliate membership and pay the lowest WAN member rate offered for all
WAN events?
Research
and reports
WAN also
operates a substantial Reach and Information department, the most important
part of which is the Shaping
the Future of the Newspaper project (SFN). The project is managed by
industry veteran Martha Stone and has produced several in-depth reports on the
migration of classifieds from print to digital. ICMA members can access the
free executive summaries of the latest reports such as ‘Digital
Classifieds Survey’, ‘World
Digital Media Trends 2008’ and ‘Benchmarking
New Digital Revenues’. To obtain the full reports, and access to the
considerable SFN library of research, WAN offers annual Company Membership at
EUR 5,000 for publishers which entitles ten executives to access the archives
and receive new reports. As an additional benefit, all executives benefit from
significant discounts on fees for all WAN conferences.
