TRAVEL
Train                                               
The easie300px-NS_train1.jpgst way to get from Schiphol airport to the NH Barbizon Palace hotel is to take the train from Schiphol Airport to Centraal Station which run every 15 minutes. The total journey will take approximately 12 minutes. You will need to purchase your train ticket at the various free-standing ticketing machines on the main level of the airport. The train to Centraal Station will cost approximately 4. After purchasing your ticket you will need to take the escalators down to the train platform. Click here for more NS travel information .  From Centraal Station, you can easily walk to the hotel, which will take 5 minutes. 

Conexxion Shuttle Bus
There is also an airport shuttle bus available. Tickets can be purchased at the Conexxion desk on Schiphol Plaza.
This service charges 12.50 from Schiphol airport to the NH Barbizon Palace hotel (most current information) and the duration of the journey is estimated to take 1 hour. Click here for more information.

Taxi
If you decide to take a taxi, kindly note the journey will take approximately 40 minutes depending on traffic and the estimated cost is 
45 for the one way trip, again this is dependent on traffic, etc. There are plenty of taxis at Schiphol, thus you do not need to reserve one ahead of time.

VISA

Some people might need a visa to visit Amsterdam. Please contact your nearest Dutch embassy, high commission or consulate to find out if you need a visa.
