For more than a century and a half the Augustiner Keller has ranked
among the most popular oases for beer lovers in the Bavarian capital.
Within walking distance from the hotel, this is the place where the
so-called "Edelstoff" is still served from the wooden keg. This evening
is not just about beer, we will have the opportunity to try out the
typical Bavarian cuisine, and of course they also serve other beverages
than beer ;-) |

SPECIAL - Day Trip To Neuschwanstein Castle - Swans, heroes and saints: the
castle of a dreamer |

It seems like it is going to be a new tradition, the Sunday trips at
the GM! But we do want to give you the opportunity to visit the world
famous Neuschwanstein Castle together with your fellow members when you
are in Munich!
The Castle was built in a time when castles and fortresses were no
longer strategically necessary. Instead, it was born of pure fantasy -
a beautiful, romantic composition of towers and walls in the perfect
setting of mountains and lakes. The combination of various
architectural styles and intrinsic craftwork has inspired generations
of adults and children alike.
Neuschwanstein Castle is in competition to become part of the "New 7
Wonders of the World". Together with the Statue of Liberty, the
Kremlin, the Acropolis, the Colosseum and the Great Wall of China one
of the 21 finalists to be voted 'New 7 Wonders of the World'. |
