ICMA regularly organises events in addition to the General Meetings to address specific topics in smaller groups so we can go more in-depth in a more interactive format.
In 2006, the Sales Lab and the Online Revenue Generation Lab (ORGL) were extremely well-attended, providing six sessions each of valuable, operationally-trageted content for sales managers and publishers alike, who left with many new practical ideas that they could implement immmediately. Senior management were not forgotten either as the Publishers' Summit brought together 35 publishers to discuss the launch of Googlebase and its implications for their businesses.
In 2008, ICMA has already held a Search Lab on 21-22 February, and will next produce a Sales Lab on 18-19 September in Amsterdam.
