From midnight CET on Monday 10 September 2007, control and management of the PHOENIX ad-exchanging system has been transferred to Joshua Advanced Media Services Ltd, the developers of the system.
ICMA will no longer play an active role in administering the system although Head Office will continue to work with Joshua to promote the system to ICMA members via the ICMA newsletters and conferences.
Details of the agreement reached with Joshua and the guarantees that ICMA has secured for participating members are as follows:
existing pricing rates and structure to remain until 31 December 2007
pricing rate increases limited to the current European Central Bank interest rate until 31 December 2008
any change to pricing structure before 31 December 2008 to be approved by a majority of users
the establishment of a user group to advise on development and management, first meeting to be held at the Amsterdam GM
continuation of comparable levels of management and service as laid out in the Conditions of Use
new data confidentiality agreement with each publisher
delivery of the new self-service “face” and the online-only “Network Ads” by 31 March 2008
