Shay is responsible for the internal and external marketing and communication, as well as planning and organising the bi-annual conferences. Also included in her role is recruitment of new members, sponsors and exhibitors and the running of overall ICMA operations.

Heather is responsible for assisting in the external marketing and communication, as well as planning and organising the bi-annual conferences. She also coordinates and organizes the implementation of Associate Member benefits as well as Exhibitor and Sponsor details.

ICMA BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The Board of Directors consists of a Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and 2 or 4 other members, who are elected by the membership every two years. Board members, who are either publishers or managers of member papers, are volunteers. The Board of Directors represents member interests, provides information on the classified advertising industry to Head Office and is responsible for the strategic direction of the association. They meet twice yearly at the bi-annual conferences and as necessary once more throughout the year.
