INMA
The International Marketing Association (INMA) is dedicated to strengthening the marketing of newspaper companies’ products, and approaching all activities with a global perspective.
Like ICMA and WAN, it is a non-profit body, and, whilst located in the USA, operates worldwide in more than 70 countries.
INMA is not classifieds-specific although its events and research cover the full range of newspaper publishers’ areas of interest, both in print and online. ICMA is an Associate Member of INMA and as such can offer discounts to members wishing to attend INMA events – please contact Shay Klomp Bueters on shay@icmaonilne.org for further details.
| INMA also publishes a monthly magazine called ideas and regular articles on its website from well-known columnists and experts. Active contributions from INMA members provide case-studies and examples of best practice and innovation. Members also have access to an archive of over 500 articles and columns dating back to 2000. |

On the research front, INMA also publishes research on various aspects of the newspaper industry. As with the events, these cover a wide variety of topics with some specific reports which will be of interest to ICMA members such as “Fresh Ideas to Promote Newspaper Classified Advertising”.
