Hotel Reservation – Method of Payment
- Upon registration, ICMA will guarantee your room reservation with the hotel. For this purpose, ICMA requires a credit card guarantee by each individual participant. Without this, the hotel room cannot be held.
- Settlement of final charges is to be made directly to the hotel by each individual upon checkout.
Hotel Reservation – Cancellation
- Individual cancellations will be accepted until 21 September 2012. Any room cancellation received after this date or No Show will be charged with the original booking to the credit card used as guarantee.
- If you wish to cancel or change your hotel reservation, please contact ICMA Head Office.
Depending on nationality, foreigners arriving in Turkey may need to purchase tourist visas (USA and some EU citizens). You may acquire your visa at point of arrival before queuing for passport control. The windows for purchasing the visa are located immediately to the left of the main passport control booths.
You must pay in US dollars, Euros, or British pounds. They will not take Turkish lira. There is an ATM where you can withdraw your own currency should you not have any. The fee varies depending on the visitor’s nationality, click here for an overview of the fees.
The hotel is located only 20 km from the Atatürk Airport and will cost approximately € 25/45 TL one way. Depending on time of day and traffic the drive takes approximately 30 minutes. Tipping your taxi driver is not necessary in Istanbul.
The Dedeman Hotel offers a private pick up service from the airport for €85/197 TL plus 18% VAT. Simply call the hotel at +90 (212) 337 45 00 to arrange your pick up service.
City Transfer Istanbul
City Transfer Istanbul offers direct, private transfer from Ataturk Airport to the Dedeman Hotel for only €30/70 TL. The time between the two points is approximately 30-40 minutes. Reservations for your transfer may be made on their website, http://www.citytransferistanbul.com or directly via email at info(at)citytransferistanbul.com. Please be sure to include your flight number.
For only €5/10 TL and with departure options every 30 minutes, you may travel to and from the Ataturk Airport to Taksim Square in comfort on the HAVATAS coach. Once you arrive in Taksim Square, take a taxi for an additional €7/15 TL, which is another 15 minute ride. You may view the HAVATAS time table here.
The Dedeman Hotel may also be accessed by public transportation. For as little as 5 TL you can arrive to the hotel after taking the metro, the metrobus and then a short walk. Simply take the Red metro line to the Merter stop. You will then get on the Metrobus towards Söğütlüçeşme. After about a 20 minute ride, get off the Metrobus at Zincirlikuyu Station. From this station, you will have a 5-6 minute walk to the hotel. If you opt for this option, you may find the public transportation map here.
