Amsterdam 2007 – “100% Digital”
31 Oct – 3 Nov 2007
The conference theme at the Amsterdam General Meeting was 100% focused on the strategic and practical technology and online issues that are impacting the classified media industry.
As in Munich in 2006, the event started on the Wednesday and included the extra Plenary Day to allow for more formal sessions, and yet still left enough time for the essential networking and relationship-building that deliver the additional unique value for delegates.
A further innovation was the “Sharing Best Practice” event for senior management planned for Friday afternoon which turned out to be a raving success!
The location for the General Meeting in autumn 2007 was Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands. ICMA secured the Radisson SAS hotel in the centre of the city, a few blocks from Dam Square on a quiet side-street, and negotiated excellent room rates which included free wireless internet access for all delegates. Whilst we had taken a substantial block of rooms at the Radisson SAS, the demand for hotel rooms in Amsterdam was as always very high and so we recommended registering as early as possible to secure your room booking.
The brochure with the complete programme has already been mailed out to all members and selected invited delegates on 23 August 2007. Online registration has now closed.
If you need a visa to travel to The Netherlands, please contact ICMA Head Office in good time so we can arrange to send you all the necessary documentation to apply.
