Hotel and Travel Information
For the General Meeting in Amsterdam, we will be staying in the beautiful 4* hotel Radisson SAS, right in the heart of Amsterdam. The Radisson SAS is situated close to the main tourist attractions, Dam Square, the bustling nightlife and the plentiful shopping areas of Amsterdam.

Rates are per room per night, including full buffet breakfast and VAT. These rates are offered 5 days prior, during and 5 days after the General Meeting dates, subject to availability of rooms at the time of reservation.
*Please note these rates are excluding the 5 % city tax.
The Radisson proudly offers free wireless for guests.
The rates listed are only valid for reservations made through ICMA. Higher rates may apply if booked directly with the hotel. Hotel requirements are to be applied for on the online registration form by the official registration deadline. ICMA will arrange your booking and confirmation of this booking will be sent shortly before the date of the event. ICMA will not be responsible for any rooms booked directly with the hotel by the participant. Please read the hotel cancellation and payment policies on the registration form carefully.

Hotel Reservation – Method of Payment
Upon registration, ICMA will guarantee your room reservation with the hotel. For this purpose, ICMA requires a credit card guarantee by each individual participant. Without this, the hotel room cannot be held.
No deposits or pre-payments are required. Settlement of all charges is to be made directly to the hotel by each individual upon checkout.
Hotel Reservation – Cancellation
Individual cancellations will be accepted until 28 September 2007. Any room cancellation received after this date or No Show will be charged with the first night of the original booking to the credit card used as guarantee.
If you wish to cancel or change your hotel reservation, please contact ICMA Head Office.
Some people might need a visa to visit Amsterdam. Please contact your nearest Dutch embassy, high commission or consulate to find out if you need a visa.

If you need any assistance in requiring a visa to enter The Netherlands, or if you need an official invitation from ICMA Head Office please send the following information to Shay Klomp Bueters at email@example.com:

Once we have received this information we will make sure that you will receive an invitation letter from ICMA Head Office as evidence to substantiate the purpose of your journey.
The easiest way to get from Schiphol airport to the Radisson SAS hotel is to get a taxi. Please note the journey will take approximately 30 minutes depending on traffic and the estimated cost is between €35 – 55 for the one way trip, again this is dependent on traffic, etc. There are plenty of taxi’s at Schipol, thus you do not need to reserve one ahead of time.
There is also an airport shuttle bus available. Tickets can be purchased at the Conexxion desk on Schiphol Plaza. This service charges €12.50 from Schiphol airport to Radisson SAS hotel (most current information) and the duration of the journey is estimated to take 1 hour. Clickhere for more information.
The third option is to take the train from Schiphol Airport to Central Station. You will need to purchase your train ticket at the various free standing ticketing machines on the main level of the airport. The train to Central Station will cost approximately 4. After purchasing your ticket you will need to take the esclators down to the train platform.

From Central Station, you can either walk to the hotel, which will take approximately 15 minutes or take a taxi. Please be sure to take one of the TCA Taxi Central Amsterdam, the number on top will say 020 6 777 777 and the cost should be approximately €10 – €12.
