For the General Meeting in Brussels, we will be staying in the beautiful 5* Radisson SAS Royal Hotel, steps away from Grand Place.
The famous Grand Place is the central hub for this bustling city and is truly breathtaking with its 15th century Gothic City Hall as well as the Baroque town houses. You can easily lose track of time in the maze of small streets, full of all that makes your mouth water whether it be the Belgium Beer or Chocolates, there is surely no shortage here!

Rates are per room per night, including full buffet breakfast and VAT. These rates are offered 5 days prior, during and 5 days after the General Meeting dates, subject to availability of rooms at the time of reservation.
The Radisson proudly offers free wireless for guests.
The rates listed are only valid for reservations made through ICMA. Higher rates may apply if booked directly with the hotel. Hotel requirements are to be applied for on the online registration form by the official registration deadline. ICMA will arrange your booking and confirmation of this booking will be sent shortly before the date of the event. ICMA will not be responsible for any rooms booked directly with the hotel by the participant. Please read the hotel cancellation and payment policies on the registration form carefully.

Hotel Reservation – Method of Payment
Upon registration, ICMA will guarantee your room reservation with the hotel. For this purpose, ICMA requires a credit card guarantee by each individual participant. Without this, the hotel room cannot be held.
No deposits or pre-payments are required. Settlement of all charges is to be made directly to the hotel by each individual upon checkout.
Hotel Reservation – Cancellation
Individual cancellations will be accepted until 1 April 2008. Any room cancellation received after this date or No Show will be charged with the first night of the original booking to the credit card used as guarantee.

Some people might need a visa to visit Brussels. Please contact your nearest Belgium embassy, high commission or consulate to find out if you need a visa.

Once we have received this information we will make sure that you will receive an invitation letter from ICMA Head Office as evidence to substantiate the purpose of your journey.
The easiest way to get from Brussels airport to the Radisson SAS Royal hotel is by taxi. Taxis with a taximeter are permanently available in front of the arrivals hall. Licensed taxis can be recognized by the blue and yellow emblem. Please note the journey will take approximately 30 minutes depending on traffic and the estimated cost is 40 for the one way trip, again this is dependent on traffic, etc. Travelers are advised to avoid unlicensed taxis.
The other option if arriving via the Brussels airport is the train. The airport train station is located below the terminal (basement level-1). The train leaves every 15 minutes from the airport to Central Station and the cost is 4 per person. Central Station is the closest train station to the Radisson SAS Royal hotel. It is a 5 – 10 minute walk to the Radisson SAS Royal. As you make your way out of Central Station you should see the hotel Meridien in front of you, turn right which puts you onto Boulevard de L’imperatrice Keizerin and walk for a little over 200 meters. Keep a lookout on your left for Rue D’Assault and take a left when you reach this street. At the end of Rue D’Assault you will see the Radisson SAS Royal hotel.
Those of you arriving via the Eurostar or Thalys will be arriving via Gare du Midi /Brussel-Zuid Station which is 15 minutes by taxi to the Radisson SAS Royal hotel, approximate cost is € 20 for the one way trip, dependent on traffic, etc. Licensed taxis can be recognized by the blue and yellow emblem. Travelers are advised to avoid unlicensed taxis. Once you reach Central Station you can follow the directions listed above.
