Friday 29 April
Gala Party at Hotel Negresco
The stunning Hotel Negresco, first opened in 1913, is Nice grandeur at its finest and a National Historic Monument. The glass dome in the main public space was made in Gustave Eiffel’s workshops and the French chandelier was originally intended for the Kremlin before the revolution held up Czar Nicholas II’s order.
The Hotel Negresco has hosted Heads of State, served as a hospital during WWI, and experienced a resurgence as gallery for French Art while still serving A-list guests.
Our evening will consist of cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. Don’t forget, the winners of the 2011 ICMA Innovation Award will be announced!
Tickets for the Gala Party are separate from the conference Registration Fee.
