David’s first foray into Online Dating was in 2002 as the managing partner at EI, an early stage investor, architect and development firm for Lemontonic.com. Following the successful acquisition of Lemontonic.com by Silverback Media in 2006, Mr. Benoliel continued serving tier 1 clients with award winning web solutions including the Royal Bank of Canada, Bell Canada, Microsoft, and Sony.

In 2007, David saw the opportunity to move back into online brand development by stewarding the sale of his agency to Cyberplex (TSX:CX.TO). From 2008 to 2010, David oversaw aggressive 10x growth of Cyberplex’s online marketing operations to over $110M in revenues. In that role, Mr. Benoliel led digital marketing strategies and campaigns for for leading direct marketing brands including eHarmony, Netflix, LavaLife, Match.com, NetQuote, and Amex.
